Unless you’ve moved it, the MacOS operating system places QuickTime in the Applications folder. By double-clicking the player in your Applications folder, you can access it. Apple released the first version of QuickTime in 1991, which is now included in Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Mojave. Users of Mac OS X will no longer be able to play Quicktime Player 7.
To update your software, click the Help pull-down menu at the top of the player window.
